Just Organics is a new business that I started in April 2024.

The idea evolved when my daughter visited from the south Island and was heading up to Gisborne for the New Year. I said “Would you like me to make you some seed cracker mixes to cook up when you’re away” (a family favourite) This is when my journey with Just Organics began.

I was diagnosed with an unexpected breast cancer in early 2023. My family had no history of breast cancer, so it seemed very unreal to me that I now was diagnosed with cancer. Luckily I am cancer free today, early detection is lifesaving. I started looking and researched into all the things that may have contributed to my diagnosis. I started to read all the food labels. I realised most of the food we eat have harmful additives, preservatives and fillers. knowledge… Knowledge is Power, especially if you use it!

I decided I would make my own food from scratch as much I could. I buy organic food as much as possible. Organic food doesn’t have all the nasty additives and preservatives. I think we all need to get back to basics and eat like our grandparents did, simple unprocessed food. We all have busy lives and it’s hard to find the time to prepare meals from scratch. This is another reason why I have created my six-seed cracker mix that is easy to make at home and easy for your kids to make too.

I make seed crackers on a weekly basis, they are a good go to when you need a healthy snack. It has grown into a passion to produce and source naturally healthy foods that effectively support our everyday health and wellness. Just Organics is a product range that lovingly is hand-crafted in a natural environment.

My hobbies are travelling around NZ, tramping and Mountain biking.
